Farmers' Market

The Borough of New Brighton partners with the Beaver County Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association to hold an annual farmers market.  The market is located next to Diamond Milling Company at 313 Fifth Avenue, and operates every Tuesday from the beginning of May to mid November from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

The market features fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, honey, fresh-cut flowers, fully prepared meals, and bedding plants sold by local Beaver County growers and merchants.

The Beaver County Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association is a group of 35 Beaver County growers who actively participate in area markets selling their own grown vegetables and fruit, taking great pride in their products because what they sell is what they grow.

The New Brighton Farmers Market is more than just a shopping trip, this market and other markets like it have become integral parts of regional food systems, economies, and social networks. Markets offer a place to connect with neighbors, meet local farmers, support local small businesses, and provide nutritious food to neighborhoods in need.
